PEST CONTROL

The Pest Control Section will provide a pest control service to domestic premises focusing primarily upon prevention. Such activities include advice, control and where requested elimination of pests/rodents presenting a risk to public health.

Treatment

The Pest Control Section will provide treatments for a range of pests such as rats, mice, wasps, etc.  The changes for such services are as follows:-

*    A reduced charge of 10.00 per treatment applied to Senior Citizens

Advice

The Pest Control Service will identify insect pests found in the home and offer advice on control/eradication accordingly.

For other pests such as pigeons, squirrels, bats and foxes no treatment is offered but advice will be given to the most appropriate course of action.

Honey Bees

The Pest Control Service cannot treat for honey bees as they are a protected species.  Any problems encountered with a bees nest on your property will need to be dealt with by a specialist bee-keeper.
