The STEM Project
The STEM Project is funded by the EU INTERREG IIIA Programme for Ireland/Northern Ireland, nine participating Councils and Southern Group Environmental Health Committee.
A business or organisation will have an impact on our environment regardless of its size. This impact can be controlled and managed by implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS).
The STEM Project has three key objectives:-
- Deliver ISO 14001 to nine councils and SGEHC
- Assist 270 Businesses to achieve accreditation to BS 8555
- Offer Project Management Support for those businesses that have achieved BS 8555 and are willing to commit adequate resources. to achieve ISO 14001
