Irish Language Bursaries
THIS BURSARY IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2006
Omagh District Council invites applications for a number of Bursaries aimed at promoting proficiency in the Irish Language.
The Bursaries will take the form of part scholarships to a recognised Summer Course in a Gaeltacht area during the year:-
| 12-14 Years: | 6 Bursaries @ 150 each |
| 14-16 Years: | 6 Bursaries @ 150 each |
| 16-18 Years: | 2 Bursaries @ 150 each |
| Adult Beginners: | 2 Bursaries @ 150 each |
One additional discretionary award @ 150
Assessment will be conducted through an informal conversation of approximately 10 minutes duration.
The Bursary Scheme is open to residents of Omagh District Council area only.
Applications will not be accepted from anyone who was awarded a Bursary in the previous year.
