Time: 20:30PM

Location: Strule Cafe at Sturle Arts Centre

This one man play explores Tyrone man Vin McCullagh’s experiences with mental illness. A full time psychiatric nurse at Gransha Hospital,
McCullagh has himself been treated for bipolar disorder. This narrative monologue takes the form of twelve stanzas, a journey through his
childhood in rural Tyrone, a life threatening accident on a building site, the manic highs and suicidal lows of mental illness, to an acceptance
of life in Older in Donegal. Insightful, wry, and darkly humorous observations on everything from education, political and clerical dogma,
and the rigours of ECT make up this moving piece of writing. Vin McCullagh emerged from the Derry Scriptwriting group run by Felicity
McCall. This piece premiered at the Playhouse, L’Derry and Vin McCullagh is proud to be bringing it home to Tyrone. Not to be missed.
Tickets priced at £9 and can be purchased from Box Office at 028 8224 7831 or from our website at www.struleartscentre.co.uk.
