AISTEOIRÍ NA hÓMAÍ

The Irish language drama group is currently preparing to take part in the Féile Drámaíochta Rann na Feirste, which takes place between the 23rd and the 25th of March.

Irish Activities

 

CIORCAL COMHRÁ

A conversation circle will meet once a month on Saturday mornings at 11 0' clock in Omagh Library. This activity provides Irish speakers and learners the opportunity to practice their Irish in an informal setting. The Ciorcal Comhrá will meet on the following dates: Saturday 3 March, Saturday 31 March, Saturday 28 April, Saturday 26 May and Saturday 23 June.

 

HILL WALKING GROUP

Members of an Irish speaking hill walking group meets once a month on Sunday mornings to walk in the Sperrins and speak Irish. This group will be led by experienced hiker and fluent Irish speaker, Paddy Largy.

LECTURES

A series of Irish language related talks will take place in February and March of 2012. It will feature talks from highly qualified speakers that will aim to broaden the appeal of the Irish language. Click here for more details.

 

DANCING

A Céilí and Sean-nós dancing class takes place in Strule Arts Centre on Wednesday evening in Strule Arts Centre from 6:45 - 7:45. Instructions for this class are given in both Irish and English.
