CLUB ÓIGE NA hÓMAÍ

An Irish language youth club called Club Óige na hÓmaí was founded at Omagh Youth Centre in March 2010.  Its aim is to give local children between the ages of 11 and 18 the opportunity to practice speaking Irish in an informal environment.  This is achieved through the provision of a range of games and activities that are conducted through the medium of Irish. 

Members of Club Óige na hÓmaí also have the opportunity to avail of excursions to other Irish language clubs and activities.  The club operates on Thursday evenings in Omagh Youth Centre (beside Omagh Leisure Centre) between 7 and 8.30.
