Irish In The Community Scheme
The Irish Language in the Community Scheme is aimed at giving community groups that seek to promote Irish within their own communities the opportunity to do so.
Through this scheme the Council will provide funding for a tutor if any given community group can bring at least six adults together to learn Irish on a regular basis. Course participants will pay a fee (£2 per class approx.) at the commencement of the course. This money will be used to cover the expense of tutors.
