A detailed map of the route developed by Sustrans will soon be available. Sustrans (sustainable transport) is a charity which works on practical projects to encourage people to walk and cycle more.
In 1995 the Millennium Commission awarded Sustrans £43.5 million towards the National Cycle Network, which will create 8,000 miles of routes by 2005.
