Community Support Plan
The Community Support Plan outlines how Omagh District Council in partnership with other community support organisations in the district will meet the overall aim of the voluntary and community unit:
"To strengthen local communities, increase community participation and promote social inclusion through the stimulation and support of community groups, community activity and local advice services."
The establishment of an inclusive community support forum has been fundamental in the development of a plan, which addresses the many issues, which exist in the voluntary and community sector.
