Litter
Everyone has the right to a litter-free environment. Not only does litter spoil the aesthetics of an area but it is also a form of pollution and can be of harm to the people and wildlife of your area.

Omagh District Council would encourage children and adults alike not to be responsible for dropping litter.
Any persons responsible for leaving or depositing litter are committing a criminal offence. The district council's Enforcement Officer (Litter) can issue Fixed Penalty Notices and littering fines up to a maximum of £2,500.
If you are keen to keep your park clean then community clean ups can be organised through the council who can provide the necessary equipment and remove the litter collected. All residents should encourage each other to keep their park a clean, tidy and safe environment for all children and adults to live in.
