Remit:
• Contribute to the enrichment of community life through a wide field of cultural heritage representing the diversity of traditions in the district
• Liaise with voluntary groups, Western Education and Library Board and other public agencies in fostering and developing cultural heritage relating to language, literature, music, folklore, history, drama and the arts
• Generally assist and encourage voluntary groups engaged in cultural activities
• Relate cultural activities to the development and promotion of tourism

• Development Committee through the Head of Arts and Tourism
