Officers reporting:
• Group Chief Building Control Officer

Remit:
• Deal with the appointment of group building control staff
• Co-ordinate and monitor the provision of the building control service within and between groups
• Advise the employer council and councils within the group on any requests from a public body or government department for the provision of building control services
• Advise councils on the preparation of district building control plans

Reports to:
• Policy & Resources Committee
