Community Safety And Policing Partnerships

Omagh Community Safety Partnership (CSP)

The District Council is currently in the process of establishing a Community Safety Partnership. The Partnership will comprise of stakeholders from the public, voluntary, private and community sectors will work together to target negative impacts that crime, concern about crime and other safety issues have on our quality of life.

The Omagh CSP will develop and deliver community safety initiatives that are sustainable and make a real difference to people's lives and complements the work of the local District Policing Partnership. Both partnerships require consultation with the public about crime and provide a forum for representing and expressing people's views, the DPP specifically on policing issues and the CSP on broader community safety issues.
